– BABY IN TUNE –
Hey Guys! Last week I introduced you to the newest member of the Bean Squad, Vered Ronen. As I mentioned, I had visited her class, Baby In Tune, on a whim and thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed environment accompanied by her refreshing style of teaching. I wanted to give you a little more of an in depth review of her class…
Each class starts off welcoming everyone, and piggybacks on the lessons learned in the previous class. Whether it is the use of shakers to develop language skills or rolling balls back and forth to work on communication and motor skills, all in the class learn how to effectively identify and work with the cues our children are exhibiting and teach them how to respond to ours. It is highly interactive, with each caregiver expected to demonstrate the activity to their little ones and chime in during songs. Sign language demonstrated during songs is also incorporated into the session.
My favorite part of the class is the Challenging + Positive Moments exchange which is shared throughout the class by each family/caregiver. The raw honesty about the challenges of child-rearing is always received by kind, knowing eyes of all in attendance or a possible solution, and the crinkle in everyone’s eyes as they laugh or smile when sharing how their baby took their first step or said their first word is always heartwarming.
If you’re looking for a small, relaxing environment, a class with a focus, and would like to spend time with other moms who are experiencing much of what you are, this might be the class for you!
