While breast feeding is awesome, sometimes the boobies just need a break or it just might not be for you! Here are a few of my favorite bottles…
MOST COMPARABLE TO THE BREAST

The Minbie nipple is by far my favorite nipple/bottle combo for infants who’s parents want to continue breastfeeding, but also want to introduce a bottle. I found it is also great for infants who prefer breastfeeding and struggle with transitioning to a bottle.
BEST VENT SYSTEM

Dr. Brown’s amazing vent system design makes this a great bottle with a clean aesthetic. I like this line specifically because it reduces feeding issues like colic, gas, and spit-up. Vitamins in milk that would normally be altered because of exposure to air are also maintained because of the vent system. Dr. Brown’s bottles also come in a number of options – glass, colored, transitional, specialty feeding (i.e…cleft lip/palate, oro-neuromotor dysfunctions) etc… I prefer the original and specialty feeding designs which seems to have the least issues with leaks.
The only con that can be found with this bottle is the many pieces it contains which can be frustrating when it comes time to clean them and assemble. However, I find having a few extra bottles already put together makes life a lot easier when your little one is screaming for his next meal.
AN OLDIE BUT A GOODIE

My mother swore by these bottles when my brother and I were born and I have to agree with her – I lurve them. Philips Avent bottles are another line of bottles that is excellent for infants with colic and/or who tend to be gassy. I also appreciate that the bottle has minimal parts to wash and assemble, because who wants to be fumbling around piecing tons of bottle parts together when your baby is screaming?
THE PEOPLE’S CHOICE
Like the above mentioned bottles, the following two are loved by myself and many mamas out there because of their simplicity, durability, and because they work!
