FOOD:
Brooklyn: Chez Oskar Bistro + Bar - If you are looking for a quick and delicious french-inspired meal this intimate spot is my go-to! They can accommodate sizable groups - I've come with a group of 11 and we were all seated relatively quickly. 310 Malcolm X Boulevard, Brooklyn, NY 11233
Brooklyn : Roti on the Run - West Indian Food that will make your mouth water. 3140 Fulton St, NY 11208
Manhattan : Bonsignour - Teeniest little bistro, but the food is absolutely delicious. Options range from salads, to pastry, and sandwiches. 35 Jane St New York, NY 10014
Bronx: Pizza Barn - If you're looking for a slice of pizza big enough to feed two to three people (depending on your appetite!) and cooked to perfection, this is your spot.
HEALTH + WELLNESS:
Did you know that the NYC Parks + Recreation Department hosts a number of exercise classes throughout the city that are usually free of cost. Register for events here!
I love to make bone broth especially during the fall and winter months, but I don't always have the time (or honestly, the patience) to wait for it to cook. For the times when I want something quick and easy to prepare, I heat up the contents of one of these packets for bone broth in three minutes or less. The pouches are shelf-stable so you don't have to worry about it spoiling quickly.
